It's good to have an experience that provides evidence of one's own objectivity, and I think such unsolicited agreement between individuals is a particularly serendipitous medium for such an experience. Thank you for posting this. I'm glad I could come back on this post after the election and remember the hope and drive we all had during a truly memorable campaign. Here's to a safe and productive climb from our hole over the next eight years. Sidebar: It may be obvious, but I'd like to say nonetheless that the violence you've experienced in your past is nothing short of appalling. I half-expected the McCain campaign to resort to using racial hatred and xenophobia, but I was completely surprised to see his and Palin's appearance become partial hate rallies. I'm doing everything I can to get Barack Obama elected because I know that he has to win by a clear margin in order for the win to not be contested or stolen. I'm glad to see that you are, too. BTW, even though I'm relatively unserious about judo, I've enjoyed the thoughtful podcast that you and Mike do.
