Membership
Basic SSJ Judo membership is $75 per month.
At this price, we have the lowest per hour cost for martial arts in Charlottesville, with the largest (and only) permanent, world-class mat surface. We have the largest number of available classes, the most experienced instruction, and the most successful competitive kids’ program in Virginia. We currently offer classes four days per week. Members may attend as many classes as they wish every week, and enjoy learning from a fifth-degree black belt with 40 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Virginia.
We do not require long-term contracts, but we do offer discounts for quarterly and annual memberships, as well as multiple family memberships. Please email for more information.
For insurance reasons, all members must register with the national governing body, United States Judo Federation ($50 annual fee).
